Founded to close the gap between the lecture theatre and the workplace
LEMT University was established by a group of academics and industry leaders who believed that management education had drifted away from the technologies reshaping every organisation. We opened with two programmes and thirty-one students. Today we teach more than ninety programmes to a community drawn from forty-two countries.
Our model is deliberately different. Every module is co-reviewed each year with an employer panel. Every student completes at least one live, assessed project for a real organisation. Every member of teaching staff maintains an active professional or research practice.
We remain a small university by choice. Cohorts stay intentionally modest so that supervision is personal, feedback is fast and no student becomes a number on a register.
Mission
To develop principled, capable leaders who can apply technology to problems that matter — economically, socially and environmentally.
Vision
A university where an applicant from any country can access a rigorous London education, on campus or online, at a cost that is honestly stated.
Values
Integrity, curiosity, inclusion, rigour and usefulness. We measure success by what our graduates achieve after they leave.
Governance
An independent Board of Trustees, an Academic Board chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, and external examiners appointed for every award.
