Chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, the Board approves every new programme and reviews annual monitoring reports from each school.
External Examiners
Independent examiners from other institutions are appointed to every award. Their reports and our responses are published internally each year.
Annual Programme Review
Each programme is reviewed annually against outcomes, progression, feedback and employability data, then revalidated every five years.
CPD-Aligned Short Courses
Professional certificates carry stated CPD hours so learners can evidence continuing development to their employer or professional body.
Centre Approval & Audit
Approved centres are contracted, code-listed publicly, and audited on teaching quality, assessment security and student support.
Award Registry
Every certificate is recorded centrally at the moment of issue and can be verified free of charge by anyone holding the certificate ID.
Accessibility Standard
Digital materials are produced to WCAG 2.2 AA: captioned media, keyboard navigation and screen-reader-tested interfaces.
Academic Integrity
Similarity checking, viva-style authentication on doctoral work and a published misconduct procedure with a right of appeal.
Student Voice
Elected student representatives sit on programme committees and the Academic Board with full speaking rights.
