Overview

DBA in Cloud Computing is designed for learners who want to generate original knowledge in the discipline of cloud computing and evidence that capability with a recognised, verifiable award. The programme carries 540 credits and represents approximately 5,400 hours of total qualification time, including guided learning, independent study and assessment.

Study is supervised rather than taught. You work with two supervisors from the outset, complete a structured research methods phase, then progress through fieldwork, analysis and thesis writing with an annual progression review at each stage. The award is confirmed following a viva voce examination.

Delivery is part-time research. All materials are captioned, downloadable and mobile-friendly, and the digital library gives you full-text access to the major academic databases in technology for the duration of your registration. Leads to the award of a doctorate and academic, consultancy or senior practice careers.
